Help the Campus Garden Grow!

Your support will help us expand the garden and serve a larger part of the FSU community! The garden offers a beautiful, dynamic setting in which students demonstrate principles of environmental stewardship, build their interdisciplinary skills and capacities, nurture community, and create a sense of place on campus.

We envision the garden to grow into a space where students, faculty, and staff can utilize the area for integrated, hands-on learning for classes, workshops, and events. To help create this space, funding for materials is needed to support the construction of the following:

  • A pavilion that would optimize teaching and learning opportunities by providing shelter from the elements during garden workdays and events and serving as an outdoor classroom and laboratory for a variety of academic courses.
  • Fencing to create a boundary for the area and provide an element of security for the crops and fruit trees growing in the area.
  • Supplies for additional garden beds, including brick pavers, soil, and seeds for planting.
