The Arts & Athletics Camp is in its fourth year of providing a two-week camp to local middle school students in the Tallahassee region that combines arts and athletics as a vehicle to teach and enhance leadership development, academic achievement, socialization and other life skills for local youth, including those with limited social and economic opportunity. The program was created by Dean Nick Mazza and was established thanks to the generosity of Guy and Dolores Spearman. The camp relies on the assistance of supporters of the FSU College of Social Work and the Tallahassee community to keep the camp running and to be able to offer this program to the campers and their families for no charge.
This year, the FSU College of Social Work is teaming up with Tallahassee's Top Salon Competition competitor Sucre Beauty Bar and their model, College of Social Work faculty member Jane Dwyer Lee, to raise support for a local charity. And Jane's charity of choice was the Arts & Athletics Camp! Support Jane and the camp by donating today!
Thank you for supporting the Arts & Athletics Camp with a one-time donation!
