On behalf of the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University - Florida State University Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers thank you for your interest in our fundraising campaign!
More than 40 students members of our chapter are hoping to attend the 43rd Annual National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri on (INSERT DATE.) As students, our participation in the convention is tremendously valuable. Not only do we gain professional development experience, but we also engage in networking opportunities and are exposed to increased community awareness. Collectively the experience helps shape us into much more talented and aware engineers.
As you can imagine, the cost of participating in the convention is considerable. In fact, if all 40 of us were to attend, the total would be roughly $32,000! This includes hotel, airfare and registration. We understand that there will be cost to us, but since we are College students, we are trying to actively fundraise using different methods to help bring down the total amount we would each be responsible for. With your support through our Spark project, we will do just that!
Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to our project, and help us take as many students as possible to Kansas City!
We’d love to have the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering represented as strongly as possible.
Thank you in advance!
