The Student Foundation was founded with 2 goals. The first was to spread a culture of giving back to the University amongst the student body. The second was to actually raise and donate money to programs that our fellow students care about.
What will my gift support?
Since our inception in 2010 The Student Foundation has supported:
- Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement
- College of Business
- Opening Nights
- Protect our Professors
- Marching Chiefs
- Honors, Scholars, and Fellows Building
Please make a gift today so we can continue to support these programs and many more. Any size donation will help. We will be giving special recognition to our donors of $100 or more on our social media outlets!

More information about endowments:
The basic plan underlying an endowed fund is simple—the principal of the fund is never spent.
The principal is invested, and the earnings are used to fulfill the purpose(s) for which the fund was created. Funds may be created for scholarships, fellowships, lectureships, research, professorships, library acquisitions, academic chairs, scientific and technical equipment, capital improvements or any other educational purpose of Florida State University.
The minimum amount to establish an endowment is $25,000, which can be paid over a period of years.
