These funds will be donated to the FSU Primary Health Support Fund. All donations are tax-deductible and almost every cent of the proceeds will go to FSU PrimaryHealth, with a 2.5% processing fee.
The first event: ‘FSU COM Stands with the Tallahassee Community’ will take place on Tuesday (06/16/20) at 5:30PM at FSU PrimaryHealth. To show our shared support of Black lives we plan to unite individuals from the FSU COM, FSU PrimaryHealth, and their four surrounding communities: Providence, Mabry Manor, The Meadows, and Seminole Manor.
Additionally, we are hosting a ‘White Coats for Black Lives’ event on Friday (06/19/20) at 6:00PM at the steps of the Florida Capitol. This event is planned for the anniversary of Juneteenth. Medical professionals from the FSU COM, TMH, CRMC and any other local medical facilities are invited to come together to show our support of the Black Lives Matter movement. It is our hope to contribute to dismantling racism in medicine and promoting the health and wellbeing of BIPOC.
