How to sign up:
Reserve a spot for your team here!
After you've reserved a spot, please make a gift for the CARE Program through our sparkFSU project page. We suggest a minimum of $10 for each runner, and encourage you to get family and friends to donate, too! Best of all, when you make a gift using this page, your donation is automatically doubled thanks to the First Generation Matching Grant Fund from the Florida Legislature.
How the race works:
The race will be held on Sunday, November 6th, at 9 AM. It will begin and end at the Integration Statue. Relay teams will each have 5 runners, and each runner will run about 1 kilometer of the race before passing the baton.
Following the race, a ceremony will be held to recognize the winners as well as the teams that were most successful in fundraising.
Runners will receive an event day T-shirt, a comprehensive runner packet, and free food and refreshments!
How you're helping the FSU community:
The Florida State University Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement (CARE) provides preparation, orientation and academic support for first-generation students who may face unique challenges in college because of educational or economic circumstances. Among other accolades, FSU has been recognized as an Exemplar Institution for Access and Student Success based on the CARE program.
