The Green Fund provides an opportunity for students to realize their ideas for sustainability and environmental progress at FSU. It is intended to provide students hands-on experience with the development and management of projects in support of water, energy, recycling, transportation, and food efforts.
Recent Green Fund supported projects include:
- Hydration stations installed at Strozier & Dirac libraries
- Reusable water bottles for 700+ PeaceJam participants
- Paper towel waste reduction signage at the College of Engineering
- Reusable coffee mugs for Engineering students
- Shower timers and water conservation signage in the residence halls
- Solar charging station umbrellas at the Oglesby Union
- Compost pilot and education program designed by Honors students
