2023 Development Board ASCENT Project

All money raised for ASCENT  will go to its general fund that will go to support the outlined sponsorship opportunities below:

$3,500.00 – Sponsors one teacher to participate in T3 Academy (teaching technology together), paid professional development leading to industry certifications.  Provides four weeks of training in various courses such as: Python, Python Advanced, HTML/CSS, Minecraft, WordPress, GMetrix Suite and more.

$3,000.00 – Sponsors a one-week technology summer camp for 15-25 students.  Provides a week of technology training in various courses such as Python, App Development, Robotics, Leadership, WordPress, GMetrix, or ICT Fundamentals and more.  Includes certification exam.

$2,500.00 – Sponsors one Integrated Technology Club (ITC) for either a K-12 club, or adult industry certification “club.”  Provides technology equipment to include options such as Chromebook, training platforms, Raspberry Pi robotics kits, eSports equipment, App development and more.  In some instances, includes industry certification exams as well.

$2,000.00 – Sponsors one “Bootcamp” participant leading to industry certifications such as Security+, A+, NetPlus and more.  Includes industry certification exam.

$1,250.00 – Funds travel for ITC students/clubs to participate in annual ASCENT Technology Expo.  Includes travel, hotel, two meals for small group.
