As the K-12 educational outreach facility of the FAMU – FSU College of Engineering, the Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee is committed to fostering long-term interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) that motivates students to pursue higher education and careers in these vital fields.
Summer Break provides a unique opportunity for students to explore subjects and activities beyond the regular curriculum. Exposure to new ideas, hobbies, and experiences broadens their horizons and encourages a sense of curiosity. We believe every child, regardless of their economic circumstances, should have the opportunity to explore the captivating realms of STEM.
Our Summer Camps are open to K-12 students and offer a variety of topics from astronaut training to myth busting, film making to journalism, robotics to pre-med, and so much more!
Every child possesses unique talents and perspectives. By sponsoring scholarships for summer camps, you provide a platform for diverse voices and ideas to thrive. Who knows, your support could nurture the next trailblazing innovator or groundbreaking scientist.
Together, we can empower the next generation of thinkers, creators, and problem solvers.
