The Division of Student Affairs’ Emergency Relief Fund was created to assist students who are experiencing significant financial crisis caused by unexpected events such as loss of job, family loss of income, unexpected medical expenses, large scale medical crisis or hurricanes.
This past year, many Florida State University students felt direct effects from Hurricane Idalia, despite Tallahassee being spared by the storm. This fund was able to help students with emergency needs from food insecurity, emergency travel costs, temporary housing, and other costs.
By giving to this fund, you are helping students return or remain on campus and continue their education, ensuring their success both in and outside of the classroom. Thank you for your contributions to this vital fund.
