The Sailing Club at Florida State University is an entirely student-run program that has been teaching students to sail and race competitively since the 1960s. In the last few years, our team has earned national recognition for top level performance without coaching. Recently, we gained Cross Regional status, allowing the team to travel and compete across the country, as well as host events here at Florida State. Last year, our team travelled to New York for Nationals in May. This season we are competing to attend Nationals in Boston. We are raising funds to purchase a new fleet of twelve 420 sailboats. Additionally, your donation will help support team travel expenses so that we can maintain this impressive status. We travel throughout Florida and up the east coast, competing against D1 collegiate sailing programs, which becomes expensive quickly.

Our legacy is rooted in making sailing accessible to everyone, at all levels. Your contributions will help us ensure that everyone has equal opportunities to participate in events on a local and national scale.
