The Food For Thought Pantry Renovation

The Food for Thought Pantry remains a vital resource for Florida State students experiencing food insecurity. The pantry serves both undergraduate and graduate students from every college across the university and has become an essential service for our community. In the past year the pantry experienced increased demand with over 18,000 visits last year and rising numbers each semester.

Although the need for the pantry has grown, its space has not. It is housed in repurposed office spaces, which restricts its functionality, limits the variety of food we can offer, and significantly reduces our storage capacity.

Your generosity can help us renovate and expand the current pantry. These changes will not only enhance the user experience but provide space for nutrition or cooking classes, allow for additional volunteer support, and ensure more students can access the pantry at one time.

Your support of the Food For Thought Pantry Renovation Fund will enable us to create a more efficient and welcoming space, ensuring that no student goes hungry while pursuing their education at Florida State University. Thank you for your generosity. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of many of our students.
