Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship

Celebrating its 30th anniversary at FSU, the Jim Moran Institute at the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship is committed to empowering small business owners, nonprofit leaders, and veterans with the tools and knowledge to succeed through comprehensive training, mentorship, and resources to foster entrepreneurial success. These programs are provided at no cost to participants across the state of Florida, making them accessible to a diverse range of individuals and organizations. By focusing on leadership development, strategic planning, and actionable skills, the Institute strengthens local economies and nurtures innovation in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale.

Jim Moran Institue Programming:

  • Small Business Executive Program: Designed to help CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business owners implement best practices and turn challenges into strategic advantages.

  • Nonprofit Executive Program: Assists nonprofit leaders in assessing their organization's position, developing long-term strategies, and creating practical action plans.

  • CEO Peer2Peer Groups: Exclusive forums for presidents and owners of established businesses to share insights and solutions with peers.

  • Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV): Provides training and resources to veterans aspiring to become entrepreneurs.

  • Leon Entrepreneurship and Adversity Program (LEAP): Supports entrepreneurs facing adversity by offering targeted training and resources
