Literacy Kickoff: A Family Game Plan
"Fill your house with stacks of books, in all the crannies and all the nooks."
— Dr. Seuss
The Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR) coaches families to develop a gameplan to start teaching young children to read.
Your support will enable us to host six workshops for up to 240 families. Each two-hour workshop will coach 40 families on reading and language development activities to help children become readers.
FCRR connects research to practice by providing evidence-based materials to parents and educators across the country. FCRR faculty have been recognized internationally for their breakthrough discoveries and innovative resources. Learn more at fcrr.fsu.edu.
