The Division of Student Affairs provides vital resources for our nearly 45,000 students from the food pantry to counseling services, to case management, clothing closets, and more. Although these resources provide significant support throughout their time at FSU, some of our students endure sudden or unexpected hardships that can put their academic life at jeopardy.

This is where the Student Emergency Fund comes in and provides immediate support for students facing sudden challenges such as,

• Impacts from natural disasters, like our recent hurricanes and tornados.
• Experiencing homelessness or facing eviction.
• Financial strain after loss of financial support from their family.
• Help with medical bills not covered by insurance after an accident.

Most of our students don’t need much to get them by often a few hundred dollars can be life changing and be the difference between staying enrolled at FSU or having to withdraw.
