Help us celebrate the career and impact of Emeritus Professor Robert Coleman who retired in 2024 after more than two decades at FSU.
Robert inspired students and colleagues alike to value our Scene Shop (and adjacent design/build facilities) as an active classroom for student learning, creativity, innovation and invention. When the shop moved from a warehouse on Gaines Street to the 35,000 sq. ft. Carnaghi Arts Building, he spearheaded efforts with colleagues to repurpose the old junior high school into a top-notch facility that now includes a:
- Scene Shop
- Paint Shop
- Prop Shop
- Lighting Lab
- Classroom and workshop space for undergraduate and graduate students
Your gift helps us carry on the crucial work happening at the shop, allowing us to purchase equipment and supplies and ensures that the space meets our rigorous healthy and safety standards.
