The FSU Sailing Club is raising funds to support ongoing maintenance and upgrades to our fleet, ensuring the safety and performance of our student-athletes during training and competition.

With your help, we aim to:

• Maintain and improve our current fleet – Keeping our aging boats in racing condition is critical for continued success. By purchasing new parts and equipment, and with the generous support of local alumni volunteers, we can keep our fleet afloat and ready to represent Florida State with pride.
• Install a new maintenance shed – Currently, we lack a dedicated space for boat repairs and upkeep. A new maintenance shed will not only provide a proper workspace but also offer opportunities for our sailors to learn valuable hands-on skills from experienced alumni.
• Purchase a dinghy trailer – A trailer will give us the ability to transport boats for major repairs and expand our training and competition opportunities.
• Acquire two used FJs with sails – At the moment, we don’t have any FJs available for practice. Adding two FJs to our fleet will allow us to train locally in Tallahassee and better prepare for FJ-class regattas, the most common races in collegiate sailing.
