FSU’s first Diving Safety Officer, Gregg R. Stanton, arrived at FSU in 1975 as a graduate student of Dr. Bill Herrnkind. He immediately began to develop the Academic Diving Program (ADP). During his tenure at FSU from 1975 to 2004, he turned ADP into one of the most advanced and respected scientific diving programs in the country.
Help honor his legacy by supporting the enhancement and maintenance of the Gregg R. Stanton Dive Locker at the FSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory.
