The Division of Student Affairs offers essential resources to support our nearly 45,000 students—from the food pantry and counseling services to case management, clothing closets, and more. While these programs provide critical assistance throughout a student’s time at FSU, some students still encounter sudden or unexpected hardships that can jeopardize their academic success.

That’s where the Student Emergency Fund steps in, providing immediate support for students facing urgent challenges such as:

• Impacts from natural disasters, including recent hurricanes and tornadoes

• Homelessness or risk of eviction

• Sudden financial strain due to loss of family support

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance after an accident

For many students, even a few hundred dollars can be life changing—the difference between staying enrolled at FSU or having to withdraw.
