The Asian American Alumni Network was created in 2014 as a way for alumni to connect after graduating from Florida State University. Over the last couple years, our organization has held bi-monthly virtual engagement events to provide networking and engagement opportunities for anyone interested. We have partnered with the Asian American Student Union on engagement and development opportunities and with our collaboration, we hope to bridge the gap from student to alumni by providing a support network. We believe establishing a scholarship fund will provide us the opportunity to build strong bonds with the Asian American community as a whole. We welcome people of all backgrounds to our events and to participate with our organization – you do not have to be Asian American, just interested in any of the Asian cultures that make up the Asian American umbrella.
