Every semester, a number of FSU seniors reach or exceed their financial aid limits, leaving them with significant unmet need. Even after exhausting grants, loans, scholarships, multiple jobs, and family support, many students find themselves facing the heartbreaking reality that they may not be able to afford to finish their degree.
As a result, qualified seniors are at risk of having their class schedules canceled due to outstanding balances. On average, 100–150 graduation-eligible students each term face course drops while actively working toward completing their final semester. To support these students, the Graduation Planning & Strategies Office collaborates with the Dean of Undergraduate Studies, the Office of Financial Aid, and Student Business Services to identify those in crisis and connect them with critical financial assistance that can keep them on track to graduate.
Your timely contribution can remove a major barrier for these deserving students, helping them cross the finish line and become proud Florida State University alumni. To learn more about this impactful program, click here.
