The Bass Fishing Club at FSU competes in collegiate bass tournaments across the Southeast and the nation, representing Florida State University in one of the fastest-growing competitive outdoor sports.
Travel is the heart of competitive bass fishing. Each tournament requires transporting boats, fuel, gear, and anglers to lakes across multiple states. Costs add up quickly: boat maintenance, trailer repairs, safety equipment, lodging, fuel, entry fees, and specialized fishing gear. Even at the collegiate level, a single major tournament trip can cost a team over $1,000.
Your support directly fuels our season. Every contribution helps our anglers get to more events, equip themselves safely, maintain competition-ready boats, and represent Florida State University on some of the biggest stages in collegiate bass fishing.
A top priority for the future of the club is securing a dedicated team boat(s). We currently rely on member supplied vessels, which limits competition opportunities. A team owned boat would provide reliable access for competitions and ensure our equipment consistently meets collegiate tournament regulations, and allow us to maintain the boat to our competitive standards.
Investing in a team boat strengthens our long-term competitiveness and creates a foundation that future generations of Seminole anglers can build upon. Your support helps us take this major step forward.
A team owned vessel guarantees the continuity of our club for future generations.
Funds donated to this page will be used for competition costs this season, any excess funds will be saved for future club goals and expansion.
With your help, we can travel farther, compete harder, and bring national recognition back to FSU. Thank you for supporting the team and investing in the future of Seminole Bass Fishing.
