Support the FSU Swim Club

The Florida State University Swim Club is a student-run swim club dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for swimmers of all skill levels. Our club allows students to stay active, build friendships, and enjoy both recreational and competitive swimming throughout the year.

As a club sport, we rely heavily on fundraising to cover essential costs such as pool time, equipment, meet entry fees, travel expenses, and team events. Every donation goes directly toward supporting our 100+ swimmers and keeping the club affordable and inclusive for everyone.

We are also planning to attend 5 Swim meets this semester, 3 Travel meets that roughly cost $150 per athlete, with travel and entry expenses. These meets give our swimmers the opportunity to race against other universities and grow through higher-level competition. Fundraising support helps offset these expenses and ensures that all interested swimmers can participate in travel competitions, regardless of financial constraints.

We will be hosting a Swim-A-Thon fundraiser, where athletes commit to swimming a set number of laps while raising pledges from friends, family, and supporters. This event allows our swimmers to directly contribute to the sustainability of the club while promoting teamwork, dedication, and community involvement. Funds raised through the Swim-A-Thon go directly toward essential expenses and help keep the club affordable and accessible for all members. Every lap swam and every donation made has a direct impact on our ability to train, compete, and grow as a team.

In addition, we will be attending College Club Swimming Nationals in April in Greensboro, North Carolina. Nationals is the highest level of competition for college club swimmers that gives our athletes a major opportunity to compete against teams from across the country while representing Florida State University on a national level. Attending Nationals involves significant expenses, including travel, lodging, and meet entry fees, which can be a financial burden for student-athletes. Fundraising support directly helps make this opportunity accessible to our swimmers and ensures that dedicated athletes are able to compete at the highest level without cost being a barrier.

Thank you for believing in our organization and helping us continue to do what we love. We appreciate your support!
