Each year the organization awards deserving students with the following scholarships:
Maxwell Courtney – In honor of the first Black undergraduate to attend and graduate from FSU
MLK Book Stipend – Awarded to three students during the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration through a scholarship process led by the Center for Leadership and Social Change
Dr. William R. Jones – In honor of Professor Emeritus, and founder and first Director of the FSU Black Studies Program
International Studies - Specifically designated for a student who is involved in FSU’s International Programs or plans to study abroad to gain a first-hand view of the world.
Walter T. King Scholarship - Provides support for first generation college students enrolled in the College of Medicine (M.D. Degree Program)
The FSU Black Alumni is committed to ensuring that financial resources are available for the direct support of Black students in their pursuit of academic excellence. Through your financial support and continued assistance, together we will be able to assist in the recruitment, admission, retention, graduation and placement of Black students at FSU.
