NASA Psyche Mission: Xenon Flow Controller

A team consisting of mechanical and electrical engineering students have been given a mission to design a Xenon Flow Controller for NASA’s Psyche Mission spacecraft. The goal of this mission is to explore the exposed core of a protoplanet orbiting our solar system to learn more about early planet formation. The team was recently given the opportunity to test their design under vacuum conditions at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and are seeking extra funding to make sure the components used are space-grade and will survive these conditions.
