Our training at Florida State taught us to use the power of the arts for social justice and societal change. Students in the four graduate programs continue to use this philosophy as the guiding principal of their training as future leaders in the arts.

Help the FSU Department of Art Education provide exceptional opportunities to students in the four programs to attend conferences in 2020.

Professional development for students provides them the opportunity to learn best practices and trends in the industry, network with other scholars and potential employers and present research.

In 2019, thanks to the generosity of our donors, students were able to present at:

About the Department:

The Department of Art Education is part of the College of Fine Arts at Florida State University and consists of four Graduate Programs: Art Education, Art Therapy, Arts Administration, and Museum Education and Visitor-Centered Curation (EC).  The College of Fine Arts is guided by a set of values that demonstrates a commitment to students, faculty, the University, the community at large, and the organizations that will employ future graduates.
