Art Education Exceptional Opportunities

What binds us together as Arts Administrators, Art Therapists, Art Educators and Museum Professionals?

Our training at Florida State taught us to use the power of the arts for social justice and societal change. Students in the four graduate programs continue to use this philosophy as the guiding principal of their training as future leaders in the arts.

Help the FSU Department of Art Education provide exceptional opportunities to students in the four programs to attend conferences in 2020.

Professional development for students provides them the opportunity to learn best practices and trends in the industry, network with other scholars and potential employers and present research.

In 2019, thanks to the generosity of our donors, students were able to present at:

  • The International Congress of Qualitative Research (Chicago, IL)
  • The Arts in Society Conference (Lisbon, Portugal)
  • The American Alliance of Museums Annual Conference (New Orleans, LA)

Exceptional opportunities include:

  • Conference travel
  • Special research
  • Internships
