Little Dinner Series

Did you know the Little Dinner Series serves 2,340 guests every year?

Each semester since 1957, majors in the Dedman College of Hospitality work side-by-side with instructors in a catering management course to create a series of four-course themed dinners. Every element - from the menu to décor - is conceptualized and operated by a group of students, tasked with planning their own unique event.

The series is as "hands-on" as you can imagine. When groups aren't managing their own evening, they join as the staff for their fellow classmates' dinners.

What will your donation go towards?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the decision was made to postpone the Little Dinner Series last March. While disappointing, it's understandable. The series is funded almost solely through ticket sales. Nearly three semesters of dinners were canceled, significantly impacting the program's budget.

All donations will go towards providing the Little Dinner Series with much needed support. With your help, we can ensure this unique program can continue to provide for the community and educate our students.

What's the future look like?

A modified version of the series is tentatively set for this spring, but we need your support in order to remain self-sustaining.
