Theta Tau National Convention Fundraising

We are trying to send at least 10 of our members to this Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity bi-annual National convention to represent both FAMU and FSU.

This will provided our chapter with learning opportunities in ways to improve along with a voice for our chapter.
This will be our first convention attended as a chapter since our instillation in July 2014.

Please help us fund our way.

The purpose of Theta Tau is to develop and maintain a high standard of professional interest among its members, and to unite them in a strong bond of fraternal fellowship.

A large part of maintaining this is going to meet other chapters to learn from their experiences and better ourselves and our fraternity.

At this national convention is it important that we have representatives from both FAMU and FSU universities to serve as a voice to our chapter.

How to help us:

Since Cincinnati is so far, we need help for travel and lodging expenses.

Plane tickets vary from $300 - $400 per member.

Hotels rooms range from $100 - $200.

Registration fees being estimated $150

You could even sponsor a single person as well.

About us:

Visit our website ThetaTauPhD.com

Our fraternity currently has 58 active members. Our main focuses are professional development, community service, and brotherhood.

We develop and nurture engineers with strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills that we demonstrate in our profession, our community, and in our lives.

We are known for our service to our college, university and the larger community. Our service projects create a unifying environment for learning and personal growth for our members.

We forge lifelong bonds of fraternal friendship that develops and delivers a network of lasting personal and professional relationships. We foster an inviting, safe, and social environment in which our members become lifelong friends.

Theta Tau is the oldest, largest, and foremost Professional Fraternity for Engineers. Since its founding at the University of Minnesota in 1904, over 35,000 have been initiated over the years. With emphasis on quality and a strong fraternal bond, the Fraternity has chapters only at ABET accredited schools and limits the number of student members in any one of its chapters across the nation.
