The funds raised via this project will go directly towards supporting student start-ups within the Experiences in Entrepreneurship courses.
The Experiences in Entrepreneurship courses are experiential-based courses for commercial entrepreneurship majors. The primary objective of the course series is to help students develop a startup of their own making. While students in the class will focus on the most current thought, ideas, and industry practices relevant to entrepreneurship, the outcome will be student venture creation. Further, students will showcase their businesses and concepts each spring in the JMC Market Expo on Landis Green. The Market Expo is part demo day and part marketplace of products and services. Completing the Experiences in Entrepreneurship courses addresses improving students’ understanding of entrepreneurship through instruction, mentorship, and application.
Examples of some of the businesses to come out of the Experiences in Entrepreneurship course are below!
