Five students from the FSU Panama City Crime Scene Investigation will be travelling to the FDIAI conference in Miami from October 23-27.  Not only will the conference allow our students access to some of the finest forensic instructors in the field, but it will also allow them the opportunity to gain professional contacts that will be beneficial for them after graduation.

The Crime Scene Investigation degree at FSU Panama City provides students with the scientific knowledge that is the basis for proper collection and preservation of evidence.  Understanding what needs to be done at the scene to prevent contamination, what tests are performed at the lab and how to do the analysis allows students to recognize why proper handling is essential.  In a field that has undergone public scrutiny, our curriculum will yield students with an appreciation for objective, solid science.
