Jack Hitchcock: Students Helping Students
The Student Foundation is a student-run Direct Support Organization (DSO) that is overseen by The FSU Foundation and The Division of Student Affairs. For the last ten years, the Student Foundation has dedicated our existence to helping students through gifts to various initiatives at the University.
The Student Foundation’s mission of “Students Helping Students” is designed to ignite a spirit of giving amongst students in hopes to inspire philanthropic action and better Florida State University. This year, The Student Foundation has chosen to utilize its annual fall campaign to fundraise for the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Park, a sector of campus near the newly built student union that will be dedicated to providing a permanent space for students and alumni to gather and celebrate their heritage, while educating the campus wide community on the history of these chapters and black history at our university.
