CARE Scholarships for Arts and Sciences Majors
The Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement (CARE) operates within FSU to provide equity and access to traditionally underrepresented students disadvantaged by virtue of educational and socioeconomic reasons. The CARE program provides a number of ongoing wrap-around services for participants including financial support, in-house academic advising, life coaching and tutoring.
This fund will support undergraduate students engaged in the CARE program who are pursuing a major in any department or program within the College of Arts and Sciences. The $10,000 goal represents five $2,000 scholarships for deserving students. A gift to the CARE Scholarships for Arts and Sciences majors fund offers a truly life-changing opportunity for students who are often the first in their family to attend college.
