The Library has been presented with a wonderful challenge grant opportunity of a one-for-one match for every dollar raised, up to $50,000, to support the Heritage Museum. That means that every dollar given can potentially be doubled to ensure FSU’s history is preserved, cared for and made available to our community into the future.
The Heritage Museum, located in the Werkmeister Room of Dodd Hall, is the public face for FSU’s rich history. It is where students, alumni, families, and community members can go to be immersed in FSU’s story. Knowing where we have come from is vital to understanding where we can and should go as a Florida State University community.
Additional funding will allow the Museum to be open more often, offer longer hours, more exhibits, update exhibits, install a professional sound system, lighting, and safe display of valuable objects.
