AIChE Southern Regional Conference

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is a global professional community of nearly 45,000 chemical engineers in 93 countries.  AIChE is an organization that provides its members with technical resources as well as tools to manage their careers.  The student chapter of AIChE for FAMU and FSU focuses on professional and career development for future chemical engineers.

Our members are currently raising funds for travel and lodging in Knoxville, TN for the 2017 AIChE Southern Regional Conference. Twenty active members and officers are attending the conference event to participate in research and academic competitions on behalf of FAMU and FSU as well as to attend lectures and presentations given by renounced engineers and innovators. Attending the AIChE SRC has been a year-long goal for our chapter, as we have doubled member participation in the event since last year. We hope to successfully raise enough money to reach our goal of $1000 to help cover costs of van rentals, fuel and three nights of lodging.

Your generosity is deeply appreciated by each and every member of the FAMU-FSU Chapter of AIChE.
