Dedman Greatest Needs Fund

Supporting What Matters Most — When It Matters Most

The Dedman College of Hospitality Greatest Needs Fund provides essential, flexible support for priorities that fall outside traditional endowment restrictions. This fund allows the college to respond quickly and responsibly to emerging needs, unexpected challenges, and strategic opportunities that directly impact students, faculty, and academic programs.

Unlike restricted funds, the Greatest Needs Fund gives college leadership the ability to allocate resources where they will have the most meaningful and immediate impact.

Why Flexible Support Is Critical

Endowed funds and designated gifts play an important role in sustaining the college. However, not all needs can be anticipated or covered through restricted funding. The Greatest Needs Fund ensures that Dedman College remains agile, innovative, and prepared.

Support from this fund may assist with:

  • Student scholarships and emergency academic needs

  • Textbooks and educational resources

  • Faculty and staff professional travel

  • Research support and academic initiatives

  • Program development and strategic growth

  • Immediate operational priorities

This flexibility strengthens the entire Dedman community.

Strengthening Dedman Today and Tomorrow

By supporting the Greatest Needs Fund, you provide the foundation that allows everything else to thrive. Your generosity empowers leadership to make informed decisions that directly support students, faculty, and the future of hospitality education.

Together, we can ensure that Dedman College remains resilient, responsive, and forward-focused.
