Professional development is critical for students’ future success. Training in areas such as etiquette and professionalism are no longer just considered an advantage, but a requirement for today’s competitive job market. The College of Business Etiquette Dinner allows students to learn and practice these skills while networking with College of Business alumni.
Beginning fall of 2019, the college’s Etiquette Dinner will provide a fun, relaxed environment for students to learn business etiquette skills and enjoy a three-course meal presented by a certified professional etiquette trainer.
This activity will allow students to become skilled and confident in professional and interview situations.
Topics include:
- How to confidently enter a room full of strangers
- How to introduce yourself and properly shake hands
- How to make small talk while networking
- How to navigate a table setting and correctly use dining utensils
**You can double, or even triple, the impact of your gift to the College of Business Etiquette Dinner if you or your spouse are employed by a company that matches the charitable contribution of its employees. Find out if your employer has a matching gift policy.
