Arrowhead Advertising, Florida State’s award-winning student advertising team, competes annually in the premier college advertising competition -- the American Advertising Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition.
This year’s NSAC corporate sponsor is Tinder. And our students are immersed in the real-world experience of creating a strategic advertising/marketing/media campaign for the brand.
In the fall, students conduct research and develop consumer insights to inform the campaign strategy. In the spring, they develop the media plan and produce a creative body of work, which culminates in a campaign book and multimedia presentation.
Arrowhead has a longstanding tradition of excellence. It serves as a springboard to launch students' careers. Many of our students have secured great internships or been hired at some of the top ad agencies in the country as a result of their work on the team.
To ensure a level playing field so students have the opportunity to participate in Arrowhead and equal access to technology and equipment, we are asking for your support to fund student AAF annual membership dues, a requirement for students to compete in the competition.
We are also asking for support to provide access to Adobe Creative Cloud for students engaged in creative production off campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as for digital production equipment and stock assets to assist in production. Arrowhead does not have any digital production equipment for students to use. Students have traditionally used their own equipment or borrowed equipment.
