Thanks to the generous support of alumni and friends of the Sport Management Student Association (SMSA), 44 students will have the opportunity to travel and network with collegiate and professional sports programs in New Orleans this Spring.

In order to continue to build a culture of student support for SMSA, we encourage our students to give back to SMSA and see their giving matched at a rate of 1:10!

The goal is participation over dollars, so students are encouraged to give $5 and to recruit two other friends, family or other donors to each give $5 to the SMSA fund. The total goal of $720, represents just 10% of the cost of the trip, which will be matched by other alumni and friends to ensure that students do not have to come out of pocket to continue their education on this unique hands-on learning experience.

All gifts directly benefit the SMSA and encourage sports related service opportunities, community engagement, and networking trips. SMSA provides opportunities for over 100 student members of the nation’s top ranked Sport Management program as they gain valuable experience outside the classroom interacting with organizations where they one day hope to work.
