Attendance and participation in professional conferences and conventions is an invaluable experience for students pursuing careers in speech-language pathology and audiology. Conferences give students the opportunity to attend career and graduate school fairs, network with others, and learn from other leading professionals in the field to whom they would not otherwise have access. But there are very few funding options for student registration and travel costs associated with conferences and conventions. That is why we are asking for alumni, friends, faculty and family to show your commitment to the future of speech-language pathology and audiology by giving what you can to help us reach our goal. All gifts directly benefit SCSD students through registration and travel scholarships to attend a professional conference of their choosing.
Your support will help students in the SCSD programs gain valuable experiences through conference and convention participation.
