Support College Seminar Series

The seminar series is a longstanding tradition within the College of Health and Human Sciences. It has been integral to the growth and development of our students and faculty in the Department of Nutrition & Integrative Physiology and the Department of Human Development & Family Science.

The college invites top scientists from their respective fields to give seminars to students to help fuel academic growth and career development. The seminars expose our students to new academic areas and ideas, and provide networking opportunities.

Additionally, the seminar series provides a platform for graduate students to gain valuable practice and experience disseminating their research findings and ideas in a public setting, which is typically found at large research conferences. Students also gain experience answering questions (from both students and faculty), which requires them to think about their work in a different way or provide clarity on a particular topic.

In all, the seminar series is a valuable education tool for both students and faculty as it contributes to their scholarly growth and development through various modes of education and enrichment. Your financial support allows to continue bringing in top talent from around the world.
