Support the STE General Endowment

The School of Teacher Education Endowed Fund provides general support at the discretion of the Chair of STE. Uses of the general fund include funding a tutoring program for students needing to take or retake state certification exams. Some students who succeed in the classroom still struggle with standardized certification tests and must pay out of pocket multiple times to retake the test. This fund may be used to hire tutors to work with students who have been identified as at-risk or who have underperformed and are preparing to retake it.

 

All gifts received before December 31st, 2023, receive a 1:1 match (up to a total of $15,000) to ensure STE reaches the endowment goal of $30,000 by the start of 2024 and provides permanent support to STE every year thereafter.
