Support the Sport Management General Endowment

The Department of Sport Management endowed fund provides general support at the discretion of the Chair of Sport Management. Uses of this general fund include support for programs like the FSU Sport Management Conference, which provides networking opportunities for more than 250 students to meet with industry professionals from dozens of collegiate and professional sports teams. The conference has a 75% placement rate for student interns and a 25% employment rate for jobs in entry level employment for students in the sport industry. Last year’s conference saw participation from employers like:

Jacksonville Jaguars

Tampa Bay Lightning

United States Olympics

Florida Panthers

Orlando Magic

Daytona International Speedway

New York Knicks

Miami Marlins

Special Olympics Florida

 

All gifts received before December 31st, 2023, receive a 1:1 match (up to a total of $15,000) to ensure the Department of Sport Management fund reaches the endowment goal of $30,000 by the start of 2024 and provides permanent support to Sport Management every year thereafter.
