Dean Damon Andrew pledges to match all donations made to all College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences department endowments through the end of 2024!
Your gift to the School of Teacher Education endowment will provide new STE Chair Amy Thompson with flexibility to approach new projects that support student and faculty innovation.
Uses of the fund in 2023 included support for FSU's tutoring program which prepares students for state certification exams. Some students who excel in the classroom still struggle with standardized tests. State tests also requires additional out of pocket expenses for students already strapped with tuition and housing. The STE General fund hired tutors to work with at-risk students and give them the test taking skills necessary to succeed.
All gifts received before December 31, 2024, will receive a 1:1 match (up to a total of $15,000) to grow the School of Teacher Education General Fund endowment and provide greater flexibility as our chair, faculty and students identify needs.
Make your gift today and double the resources available for the School of Teacher Education through the Dean's 1:1 Match!
