Project ElevatED seeks to uplift our University and our state by providing better training, support and recognition of the teachers, counselors, administrators, coaches and other professionals who work with Florida’s students.

Project ElevatED kicked off at halftime of the NC State football game on Saturday, Sept. 28, when FSU President John Thrasher and COE Dean Damon Andrew, in partnership with the Florida Department of Education and the Florida Association of District School Superintendents, honored the Florida Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, Assistant Principal of the Year, Superintendent of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year on the field. 

At the Project ElevatED kick off, all educators in Doak Campbell Stadium were asked to stand and be recognized. For this year’s Duel of the Schools, we ask you to stand with us and help us elevate the conversation surrounding education.
