The competitive public speaking team, a.k.a. FSU's Speech Team is excited to have the opportunity to travel to sunny Santa Ana, California for the American Forensics Association's NATIONALS! This is our biggest and most important tournament of the year - which we've been preparing for since August. The top speakers from FSU's Speech Team will have the chance to go to Santa Ana and share their speeches with audiences from across the country. Last year, we raised the national standing of FSU 10 placements and we are now in the top 25 teams in the nation.

This year, we're aiming to place in the top 20. And YOU can help get us there. Due to the high cost of flying to and from California, in addition to the registration and hotel fees, we are asking for your help in getting us to Santa Ana. Anything you can contribute - whether it's $1 or $100 - will help us worry less about funding and instead focus on getting our speeches perfected. Donating $20 will get you a personal shout out on our Instagram page. $40 will get you a Thank You card signed by the team. $50+ will get you all of the above AND you’ll be added to the Donor Roll in our team room.
